Virtual meeting will now take place on March 30th at 6 pm
ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Howard County Executive Calvin Ball has announced that the Residents’ Budget Hearing, previously planned for Thursday, March 12th, will now be hosted virtually on March 30th at 6 pm. The hearing will be livestreamed online for those interested in watching remotely. Residents who wish to testify via web conferencing are requested to sign up online by 5:00 pm on March 20th. Those who sign up on-line will receive detailed instructions following the March 20th deadline.
“Out of an abundance of caution given the recent progression of COVID-19, we decided to host our Residents’ Budget Hearing virtually. We want to first and foremost ensure the safety of our community and vulnerable populations,” said Ball. “We still want to hear from all our residents and encourage everyone to provide testimony through our web conferencing platform or online.”
Residents have the option to provide online budget testimony here; residents are reminded that internet testimony is considered public information and, as such, is subject to the Maryland Public Information Act.
