ELLICOTT CITY, MD – County Executive Calvin Ball will join executives from several county agencies and members of the Lisbon United Methodist Church on Thursday, August 13, at 5:15 p.m. at Lisbon Elementary School to sign a new partnership improving food access in Western Howard County.
“This innovative agreement will establish a weekly meal program for students and families in the Lisbon area, and is possible thanks to our strong partnerships with the community,” said Ball. “We’re bringing together our Department of Community Resources and Services, our Roving Radish program, and our Library System to provide healthy meals and engaging activities for our students. This pandemic has made food access more difficult for many of our residents, and we will continue to find collaborative solutions to ensure no one is left behind.”
