Howard County Health Department and the Howard County Animal Control & Adoption Center hold monthly vaccination clinics to protect your dog, cat or ferret from the rabies virus.
Cost: $5.00 (cash or check)
Information:
- Pets must be at least 3 months old to receive a vaccination.
- Animals may be vaccinated with 1 or 3-year vaccine based on prior vaccination history
- Bring a copy of previous vaccine history from a veterinarian. (3-year vaccination will be documented on the new certificate.)
- A County license for your pet may be obtained at an additional charge ($6.00 for altered, $24.00 for unaltered.) Proof of spay/neuter is required.
All pets must be on a leash or in a carrier!
Monthly clinics are generally held on the third Thursday of each month from 12:00pm-1:30 pm. Visit the Health Department's Community Hygiene Program page for more information
