The Human Rights Commission was established in 1969 and is composed of 11 members and a non-voting member, who is a student under 18 years old. Commissioners must live in the county and they represent diversity of Howard County citizens.
The Commission meets every third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. except in August, the commission is in recess. Due to COVID meetings are held by virtual WebEx.
