When a person goes into Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), their survival depends on immediately getting CPR from someone nearby. 88% of all cardiac arrests occur at home or work. Unfortunately, according to the American Heart Association, less than 1/3 of those who suffer cardiac arrest at home, at work, or in a public place receive CPR. As a result, hundreds of thousands of people die each year in the United States. Often, it’s because bystanders don’t know CPR!
